EFS storage class on Amazon EKS

In this section we show how you can setup an EFS storage class that supports ReadWriteMany access mode.

Prerequisites

Kubernetes

A running Kubernetes cluster on Amazon EKS.

Kubectl

Is the Kubernetes command-line tool, kubectl, allows you to run commands against Kubernetes clusters. Download it here.

aws cli and eksctl

These tools are required to create storage class on EKS cluster that uses an EFS filesystem.
